Originally built in 1991, Cotgrave Place Golf Club boasts two magnificent 18-hole courses that are set in over 240 acres of Nottinghamshire countryside, just 6 miles from the city centre. The Open Course comprises a front nine set around an impressive lake and waterways complex that not only offers a golfing challenge, but is also host to a considerable amount of wildlife. The back nine offers a challenge with mature trees strategically placed to make it a true parkland course. The Masters course was extended in 1997 from a 9-hole course, with a new nine designed by Peter Alliss. The front nine has recently undergone some major renovation and remodelling, and combines hedgerows and undulating fairways with large greens and water features.
